She travel’s on the voyager to the middle of the city,
Just to come up and see him for a little while,
She doesn’t seem to notice that the clocks are moving faster,
With every flutter of her eyes and every hint of her smile,
She say’s take me on a tour of your beautiful city,
And show me the docklands in the night,
So he takes her by the hand and leads her into to the spotlight,
Just to try and catch a peek into the depths of her eyes.
She leaves a footprint in the carpet that never ever fades,
A shadow of the look she gives him when he misbehaves,
And he can’t help but feel that he’s been cheated from the prize,
He thought he had it in the bag behind her ocean eyes.
But he finds out the hard way that she doesn’t tell no lie’s,
